It's time to celebrate the people in your life born in July. And what better way to do it than with birthstones?!

What they are
It's like the old rhyme says ... "rubies are red." These beautiful gemstones are tied to centuries of myths and status.
Known for their red colors, rubies naturally occur in crystalline limestones and dolomites, not to mention other metamorphic rocks (in less science-y words, rocks transformed by intense heat and pressure!). These are one of the more durable precious gemstones, rated a 9 out of 10 on the Mohs Scale of Hardness. The finest rubies can be sold for upwards of $1 million per carat.
It's no surprise that rubies have been used in necklaces, bracelets, and other jewelry pieces for centuries. So, of course, we have to incorporate these stones into our own collection!
