Let's Chat

First get in touch with us via the form below or by emailing miranda@andarlen.com. We'll either set up a time to chat in person, over video call, or email. Here, we'll talk through all of your ideas and answer any questions you may have.

Let's Design

After our initial consultation, our team starts designing for you! If you aren't set on one design we come up with a few different design options based on your ideas. We'll send you the design concepts for your review. We always provide a range of pricing options.

If your design includes stones, we'll source some for you to choose from.

Let's Get to Work

We'll chat more and continue tweaking your design until it's perfect. If we're creating a ring we'll have a wax replica made so you can try the ring on.

Once you've approved your final design, it heads to production! Our current production time is 4-6 weeks, but we'll provide a timeline estimate at the beginning of the project and may be able to expedite your design.

Cost & Payments

Why do you ask for my budget?

We're not here to drain your wallet. That's why it's important for us to have a general idea of how much you can spend on your custom project. Your budget allows us to create accurate draft designs that fit within your budget. The last thing we want is to send you draft designs with quotes that are way above your budget.

Ultimately, sharing your budget with us ensures we're both on the same page—it acts as guidelines to ensure the designs we suggest are ones you'll love without exceeding your financial needs.

How does payment work?

After our initial consult when you feel ready to begin the process we take a $300 non-refundable deposit to create the first draft 3D rendering of your design through.

We'll go back and forth making tweaks until it's perfect. Once you approve the final design mockup, we take a 50% deposit (minus the $300 deposit). The final 50% is due once the piece is finished and before shipped to you or picked up in store.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, we do! Let us know your ideal plan and we will schedule it. Please note that we do not start production on any custom jewelry until 50% of the total cost has been met.

What is your minimum?

Our minimum for all custom projects is $1000.

What will my jewelry cost?

After our initial consultation we will send you a quote for your design. All prices start at our $1000 minimum and vary from there.

See the Recent Work dropdown below for price ideas.

Materials & Stones

Can you source a specific stone?

Yes! We have a long list of suppliers and can likely source what you're looking for.

For large diamonds and colored stones, we often source multiple options for you to look at and decide on.

Can I bring my own stone?

Absolutely! We'd love to work with your stones, but we do need to look at them first to make sure they can withstand production.

What materials do you work with?

We only work with solid gold and platinum for custom projects.

As for stones, we work with anything and everything, from mined to lab grown.

We have high ethics standards for our mined stones and work with a select few vendors who meet our standards.

As for lab diamonds, we maintain our high standards for the stone's quality. We do not accept diamonds from growers rushing the growth process, which often results in poor quality diamonds. Poor quality lab diamonds may have growth strains or off coloring.

Warranty & Durability

I'm concerned about my ring's durability. Can you help with this?

We got you. Durability is our number one priority when it comes to engagement rings, let alone any piece we create. We never take shortcuts in the production process and always adhere to our high production standards. The last thing we want is you worrying about your ring's durability. We'll make sure all the boxes are checked and your ring is secure.

What warranty do you offer?

All custom jewelry comes with free cleanings for life. This includes a bath, prong check, and polishing.

In addition, if any melee stones under 2mm fall out within a year due to manufacturing error, we are happy to replace them for free.

We do not offer insurance, but highly recommend seeking coverage through Jewelers Mutual.

How is my jewelry made?

Rings

The majority of custom rings are designed on computer assisted design software. The approved designs are then 3D printed into wax, molded, and finally cast into metal. Once the casting has been cleaned and polished, the gemstones are set and the ring is engraved.

Other Jewelry

Depending on the design, most of our other jewelry is hand fabricated and not built on a computer. Many pieces, including necklaces and bracelets, are wire wrapped. Depending on the piece, your design may include cast pieces if any stones need setting.

And Arlen's owner, Miranda, wanted a unique wedding band that incorporated her and her partner's birthstones and the August gemstone to represent their wedding month. Mixing Color and Diamonds

Dennis loved the pear-shaped blue sapphire used in our Carter Ring, so we sourced him the perfect stone. The center stone is set in 14k yellow gold with two pear-shaped lab diamonds on either side. The center sapphire is secured in a cathedral setting so his fiancée can wear her wedding band flush with the engagement ring.
