It's time to celebrate the people in your life born in September. And what better way to do it than with birthstones?!

Meaning and Symbolism
Loyalty, integrity, sincerity, and truth.
What they are
Sapphires have been highly valued for centuries. In ancient Persia, people believed the earth rested atop a giant sapphire. Throughout the medieval era in Europe, priests wore sapphires to symbolize heaven while during the middle ages, Europeans believed the stone held healing powers.
Though beliefs and symbolism surrounding this gemstone have changed over the decades, the stone itself has not. Ranking a 9 out of 10 on Moh's Hardness Scale, it is second to diamonds in toughness. Sapphires commonly occur near ruby deposits. What's more, these stones can appear in a wide range of colors, from blue and purple to pink, green, and yellow.
We love incorporating these stones into our own collection! Check out our Classic Bracelets or Birthstone Necklaces. Our Fine Gold Capsule Collection will also include a beautiful Blue Sapphire Birthstone Ring (available September 9th).
